The first way to add a product category filter in WooCommerce is by using the built-in taxonomy system. To do this, go to the Products » Categories page and click on the Add New Category button.
Enter the name of the category, slug, and description. Then, click on the Add New Category button to save your changes.
Now that the category has been created, you can add products to it. To do this, go to the Products » All Products page and select the products you want to add to the category.
Once you’ve selected the products, click on the Bulk Actions drop-down menu and select Edit.
On the Edit screen, select thecategory from the Product Categories drop-down menu and click on the Update button to save your changes.
The second way to add a product category filter in WooCommerce is by using a plugin. There are a few different plugins that offer this functionality, but we recommend using Product Categories for WooCommerce.
Once you’ve installed and activated the plugin, go to Products » Categories and click on the Add New Category button.
Enter the name of the category and slug. Then, scroll down and check the box next to “Enable product filtering”. Click on the Add New Category button to save your changes.
Now that the category has been created, you can add products to it just like we did in the first method. Go to Products » All Products and select the products you want to add to the category. Then, click on Bulk Actions » Edit and select thecategory from
Product Categories drop-down menu. Click on Update
