Adding a Vertical Strip Using the Wix HTML Editor
Adding a vertical strip using the Wix HTML Editor is a great way to add some personality and style to your site. To get started, simply log in to your Wix account and go to the editor.
Once in the editor, click on the “Add” button in the left sidebar and select “HTML/Embed”.
In the pop-up window, paste the following code into the box:
Click “OK” to continue.
Now that you’ve added the HTML for your vertical strip, it’s time to add some CSS to style it. To do this, click on the “Actions” button in the topbar and select “Edit Code”.
In the code editor, paste the following CSS into the “Custom CSS” section:
.vertical-strip { width: 100px; height: 400px; background-color: #000000; }
Click “Save” when you’re done.
Your vertical strip should now be visible on your site! You can further customize it by changing the width, height, background color, and adding other CSS styles as needed.
Adding a Vertical Strip Using a Wix Template
Adding a vertical strip using a Wix template is a great way to add some personality and style to your site without having to code anything yourself.
Once in the editor, click on “Templates” in the left sidebar. In the templates menu, select “Vertical Stripes”.
You’ll now be able to see all of the available templates that include vertical stripes. Simply choose one that matches your brand and style, then click “Edit” to start customizing it.
In the template editor, you’ll be able to make changes such as adding or removing content, changing colors or fonts, and more. Once you’re happy with how your template looks, click “Save” in the topbar.
Your vertical strip should now be visible on your site! You can further customize it by changing colors, fonts, adding or removing content, etc. As always, be sure to save your changes when you’re done.
