How Do I Add a Voice Over in Canva?

You can add a voice over in Canva by following these simple steps:

    1. Log in to your Canva account and open the design you want to add a voice over to.

    2. Click on the ‘Text’ tab in the left-hand panel and then click on the ‘Add Headline’ or ‘Add Subhead’ button.

    3. A text box will appear. Type in your text and then press ‘Enter’ on your keyboard.

    4. To record your voice over, click on the ‘Record’ button in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

    5. When you’re finished recording, click on the ‘Stop’ button.

    6. You can then listen to your recording by clicking on the ‘Play’ button.

If you’re happy with it, click on the ‘Use’ button to add it to your design. Otherwise, click ‘Record’ again to re-record your voiceover.
You can also add a voiceover by clicking on the ‘Upload’ button and selecting an audio file from your computer.

To style text in HTML using < p >,< b > and < u > tags, simply enclose the relevant text within the opening and closing tags as follows:

This text will be underlined

PRO TIP: Canva is a great way to add a voice over to your slideshows and presentations, but there are a few things you should keep in mind before you get started. First, make sure you have a good quality microphone – the built-in microphone on your computer or laptop probably won’t be good enough. Second, if you’re recording directly into Canva, be aware that there is a time limit of 5 minutes per recording. Finally, keep an eye on the level meter as you record – if it’s consistently in the red, your audio will sound distorted.
