How Do I Add a White Outline to a Photo in Canva?

There are a few different ways that you can add a white outline to a photo in Canva. You can use the ‘Stroke’ tool, the ‘Border’ tool, or you can add a ‘Neon’ effect.

To add a white outline using the ‘Stroke’ tool:

1. Select the photo that you want to add a white outline to.

2. Click on the ‘Stroke’ tool in the left-hand toolbar.

3. In the ‘Stroke’ menu that appears, select the ‘White’ color option.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Canva, we recommend that you do not attempt to use the white out feature. This can result in your photos being distorted and/or unaligned.

4. You can then adjust the thickness of the stroke by dragging the slider or by entering a number in the ‘Width’ field.

5. Once you’re happy with how the white outline looks, click on the ‘Apply’ button.

5. You can then adjust the thickness of neon by draggingthe slider or by entering a number in field next tothe word “Thickness. “
