Adding an addon domain to Namecheap can be a little daunting at first, but it’s actually quite simple. In order to add an addon domain to Namecheap, you will first need to create a new account and then navigate to the Domains & Addons section of your account.

From here, you will need to click on the Addon Domains tab and then click on the New Addon Domain button.

Once you have clicked on the New Addon Domain button, you will be prompted to enter some basic information about your addon domain. This information includes the domain name, the hostname, and the email address for the domain.

Once you have entered all of the required information, you will then need to click on the Next button.

PRO TIP: If you are attempting to add an addon domain to your Namecheap account, it is important to note that you must first create the addon domain in your cPanel. Once the addon domain has been created in your cPanel, you can then add it to your Namecheap account.

From here, you will need to select a few settings related to your addon domain. The first setting you will need to decide is whether or not you want your addon domain to be hosted on Namecheap’s servers or if you want to host it yourself.

If you decide to host your addon domain yourself, you will then need to select the correct hostname for your domain.

After you have selected the settings related to your addon domain, you will then need to click on the Finish button. From here, Namecheap will will create a new account for your addon domain and will also add your domain to the Domains & Addons section of your account.

Once you have clicked on the Finish button, your addon domain will be added to Namecheap and you will be able to start using it to host your website or domain.
