Adding an extension to a Joomla site can be a daunting task, but not with the help of the Joomla Extension Manager. The Extension Manager is a built-in tool that makes the process of installing and managing extensions simple and straightforward.
Once you have downloaded and installed the Extension Manager, you can find it by clicking the Extensions tab in the left-hand menu of your site. This will display a list of all the extensions that are currently installed on your site.
To add an extension to your site, click the Add New Extension button on the toolbar and fill out the form that appears.
The first step is to enter the name of the extension, which will be displayed in the Extension Name field.
Next, you will need to provide a description of the extension and a link to the extension’s web page.
You will also need to provide information about the extension, such as its purpose and features.
Finally, you will need to provide the login credentials for the extension’s administrator.
Once you have completed the form, click the Save button to save the extension and return to the Extensions tab.
Now you will need to select the extension from the list of extensions and click the Activate button.
The extension will now be available for use on your site.
If you need to make any changes to the extension, you can do so by clicking the Edit button and filling out the form that appears.
Once you have made the changes you want, click the Save button to save the extension and return to the Extensions tab.
You can now use the extension on your site by clicking the Activate button once again.
If you want to remove the extension from your site, click the Unactivate button and the extension will be removed from the list of extensions.
