How do I add an SPF record to GoDaddy?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 5:02 pm

Adding an SPF record to GoDaddy is relatively simple. First, go to the Domains section of your account and click on the “Add a New Domain” button. On the “Add a New Domain” page, select the “Domain Name” tab and enter the domain name you would like to add an SPF record for. Click on the “GoDaddy SPF” button and fill out the required information.

PRO TIP: If you are using GoDaddy as your DNS provider, you can add an SPF record by following these instructions:

1. Log in to your GoDaddy account.
2. Click on the “My Products” tab.
3. Scroll down to the “Domains” section and click on the domain name you want to modify.
4. Click on the “DNS Zone File” tab.
5. In the “SPF Records” section, click on the “Add Record” button.
6. Enter the details of your SPF record and click on the “Save” button.

Please note that it is important to carefully check the syntax of your SPF record before saving it, as any errors could result in your emails being flagged as spam.

You will need to provide your domain name, the IP address of your server, and the email address you would like to use for the SPF record. Click on the “Add” button to add the SPF record.
