How Do I Add an Under Construction Page on Squarespace?

Last updated on December 28, 2022 @ 7:37 pm

There are a few different ways that you can add an under construction page on Squarespace. One way is to use the provided templates that Squarespace offers. Another way is to use a third-party plugin, such as Under construction Page by SeedProd.

If you want to use one of the provided Squarespace templates, you can do so by going to the Templates page and selecting the Under Construction template. This will add a basic under construction page to your site.

If you want to use a third-party plugin, you can install the Under Construction Page plugin by SeedProd. Once you’ve installed and activated the plugin, you’ll need to go to the Settings page to configure it.

Once you’ve got your under construction page set up, you can style it using HTML and CSS. For example, you can use the <p> tag to add paragraphs of text, the <b> tag to bold text, and the <u> tag to underline text.

PRO TIP: We strongly recommend that you do not add an under construction page on Squarespace. This is because it can interfere with your site’s SEO and cause your site to rank lower in search engines. Additionally, it can make your site appear broken to visitors and cause them to leave.
