Adding badges to WooCommerce products is a great way to increase the visibility of your products and improve your chances of selling them. There are two ways to add badges to WooCommerce products: using the built-in functionality or by installing a plugin.
Using the Built-In Functionality
WooCommerce comes with built-in functionality that allows you to add badges to your products. To use this feature, go to the Products page in your WordPress admin panel and click on the Add New button.
On the Add New Product page, scroll down to the Product Data section and click on the Badges tab. Here you can add badges to your product by entering the text for the badge in the Text field and choosing the color for the badge in the Color field. Once you have added all the badges you want, click on the Publish button to save your changes.
Installing a Plugin
If you want more control over how your badges look, or if you want to add badges to products that are already published, then you may want to install a plugin. There are many plugins available that allow you to add badges to WooCommerce products, but we recommend using the WooCommerce Product Badges plugin. This plugin is easy to use and comes with a variety of features such as:
- The ability to add unlimited badges to any product.
- A wide range of color options for each badge.
- The ability to choose where each badge is displayed on your product page (e.g. on the image, title, price, etc.).
To install this plugin, go to the WooCommerce Product Badges page and click on the “Download” button. Once the plugin has been downloaded, go to the “Plugins” page in your WordPress admin panel and click on the “Add New” button.
On the “Add Plugins” page, click on the “Upload Plugin” button and select the ZIP file for the WooCommerce Product Badges plugin. Once the plugin has been installed, click on the “Activate Plugin” button and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
After the installation is complete, navigate to the “WooCommerce” section in your WordPress admin panel, and select the “Settings” link. On the “WooCommerce Settings” page, select the “Products” tab, then select the “Badges” link. Here you can configure the settings for the WooCommerce Product Badges plugin. Once you have finished configuring the settings, remember to click the “Save Changes” button.
Now that the WooCommerce Product Badges plugin is installed and activated, you can begin adding badges to your products. To do this, go to the “Products” page in your WordPress admin panel, and select the “Add New” button. On the “Add New Product” page, scroll down to the “Product Data” section, then select the “Badges” tab. Here you can add badges to your product by entering the text for the badge in the Text field and choosing the color for the badge in the Color field. Once you have added all the badges you want, select the “Publish” button to save your changes.
