Adding categories to your shop page in WooCommerce is simple and straightforward. Here’s how:

1. Log into your WordPress Dashboard and go to WooCommerce > Products > Categories. Here you’ll be able to see all the existing product categories.

2. To add a new category, simply click on the Add New Category button. 3.

Enter the name of your new category, and then click on the Add New Category button again. 4. Now you’ll see your new category listed on the page. You can now add products to this category by going to WooCommerce > Products > Add New. 5. Select the new category from the Product Categories dropdown menu, and then click on the Add New Product button.

And that’s it! You’ve now successfully added a new category to your WooCommerce shop page.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to sell products on your website, it is important to add categories to your shop page so that customers can easily browse through your products.

However, before adding categories, you should first consider what type of products you will be selling and how you want to organize them. For example, if you are selling clothes, you may want to create categories such as “men’s clothing,” “women’s clothing,” and “children’s clothing.”

Once you have decided on the categories you want to create, you can add them to your shop page by following these steps:

1. Log in to your WordPress account and go to the Dashboard.

2. In the left-hand sidebar, hover over WooCommerce and click on Products.

3. On the Products page, click on Categories.

4. On the Categories page, enter the name of your category in the Name field and then click on the Add New Category button.

5. Repeat this process for each category you want to add.

After you have added all of your desired categories, customers will be able to browse through them on your shop page and find the products they are looking for more easily.
