How Do I Add Fonts to Figma San Francisco?

Last updated on December 1, 2022 @ 11:27 am

There are two ways to add fonts to Figma: from the Figma interface, or by using CSS code.

From the Figma interface, you can add fonts by selecting the ‘Text’ tool, then click on the ‘+’ icon in the top left-hand corner. This will open a new window where you can search for and select the fonts you want to add.

You can also add fonts to Figma by using CSS code. To do this, first create a new file in your project, then click on the ‘< / >‘ icon in the top left-hand corner.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that adding fonts to Figma San Francisco can result in stability and performance issues. We recommend only adding fonts that you absolutely need, and removing any unused fonts on a regular basis. Thank you for your cooperation!

This will open a new window where you can enter CSS code. In the CSS code, you will need to add the following lines:

@font-face {
font-family: “Your Font Name”;
src: url(“https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Your+Font+Name”);
}

Once you have added these lines, you will need to save the file and refresh the page. Your font should now be available to use in your project.
