When you ship products internationally, there are a few different shipping methods you can use. One of the most popular methods is called “Global Shipping.” Global Shipping is a shipping method offered by many different shipping carriers, including UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
It allows you to ship your products to over 190 countries around the world. If you’re using WooCommerce to sell products online, you can add Global Shipping to your WooCommerce store using the WooCommerce UPS Shipping plugin.
Adding Global Shipping to your WooCommerce store is easy. First, you need to install and activate the WooCommerce UPS Shipping plugin. For more information, please see our article on how to install a WordPress plugin.
Once the plugin is activated, you need to enter your UPS Shipping API credentials. You can get these credentials by signing up for a UPS Developer Kit. Once you have your UPS Shipping API credentials, you need to enter them in the WordPress admin area under WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > UPS.
First and foremost, please be aware that global shipping can be expensive, and you will need to factor this into your pricing. Additionally, please be sure that you are familiar with the customs regulations of the countries you are shipping to, as you will be responsible for ensuring that your shipments comply with all relevant laws. Finally, please be aware that delivery times can vary widely when shipping internationally, and your customers will need to be patient.
After you’ve entered your UPS Shipping API credentials, you’ll need to select the countries that you want to ship to. To do this, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > UPS and select the “Enable International Shipping” checkbox. Then, select the countries that you want to ship to from the “Ship to Countries” dropdown menu.
You can also specify what kind of products you want to ship internationally. To do this, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products and select the “Shipping” tab. Then, select the “International shipping” checkbox next to the product or products that you want to ship internationally.
Finally, you need to configure the shipping rates for your international orders. To do this, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > UPS and scroll down to the “Shipping Rates” section. Here, you can specify the shipping rates for different countries and regions.
Adding Global Shipping to your WooCommerce store is easy and only takes a few minutes. With the WooCommerce UPS Shipping plugin, you can ship your products to over 190 countries around the world.
