Adding Google Tag Manager to Joomla can be done in a few simple steps. First, create a new Tag Manager project in your Google Tag Manager account.

Next, copy the code snippet below into the Tag Manager project’s “Config” tab. This will add the Joomla component to your project.

<script src="https://www.google.com/tagmanager/js/gtm.js"></script>
<script src="https://www. google.com/tagmanager/js/Joomla.js"></script>

Now, you’ll need to add a tag to your website. To do this, open your website’s “Settings” tab, and under “Tags & Categories” click on the “Add a tag” button.

Next, enter “Google Tag Manager” into the “Tag” field and click on the “Add tag” button. Finally, you’ll need to create a tag trigger.

PRO TIP: If you are unsure about how to add Google Tag Manager to Joomla, it is best to consult with a professional or seek help from the Joomla community. Be careful when adding any code to your website, as it can potentially break your site or cause other problems.

To do this, click on the “Triggers” tab, and then under “Google Tag Manager Triggers” click on the “Create trigger” button.

Next, enter “when a webpage is loaded” into the “Event name” field, and “Google Tag Manager” into the “Event type” field.

Finally, click on the “Create trigger” button.

Now, when a page is loaded, Google Tag Manager will automatically tag it with the “Google Tag Manager” tag. You can then use this tag to track and analyze your website’s traffic data.

To do this, open your website’s “Google Analytics” account, and under “Tools” click on the “Google Analytics” button.

Next, under “Tags” click on the “Google Tag Manager” tag that you created earlier. This will open your website’s “Google Analytics” account’s “Tags” window, where you can view all the data that Google Tag Manager has tagged your website with.
