How do I add more Artboards in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 23, 2022 @ 8:11 pm

Adding more artboards in Photoshop can be done a few different ways. The first way is to go to the File menu and select New Artboard.

This will open up a New Artboard dialog box where you can specify the size of your new artboard. You can also use the keyboard shortcut, Ctrl+J (Mac) or Cmd+J (Windows), to create a new artboard.

PRO TIP: Adding too many Artboards can slow down your Photoshop performance. When you add an Artboard, be sure to delete any unused ones to keep your project running smoothly.

The second way to add more artboards is to use the Alt+click (Mac) or Shift+click (Windows) shortcut to select multiple artboards and then click on the New Artboard button in the Artboard Options dialog box. This will open up the New Artboard dialog box where you can specify the size of your new artboard.

The last way to add more artboards is to use the Artboard command (Cmd+A on Mac orCtrl+A on Windows) from the Tools menu. This will open up the Artboard dialog box where you can specify the size of your new artboard.
