As a business owner, you’re always looking for ways to promote your brand and get your product in front of potential customers. One way to do this is by adding an Instagram feed to your Shopify store.

This allows you to showcase your photos and products in a visually appealing way, and it gives customers another way to connect with your brand. Adding an Instagram feed to your Shopify store is a simple process that can be done in just a few steps.

First, you’ll need to create a new Instagram account for your business if you don’t already have one. Once you have an account, you can go to the Shopify app store and search for the “Instagram Feed” app. Install the app and then follow the prompts to connect it to your Instagram account.

Once the app is connected, you can choose how you want your photos to be displayed on your shop page. You can choose to show all of your photos, or only certain ones that are tagged with a certain hashtag. You can also decide how many photos you want to display, and whether or not you want them to be clickable so that customers can view them on Instagram.

PRO TIP: If you are considering adding your Instagram feed to your Shopify footer, be aware that this may result in decreased footer usability and could negatively impact your store’s conversion rate.

Once you have the app set up the way you want it, go to the “Theme” section of your Shopify dashboard and click “Edit code.” In the “Layout” folder, look for the “theme.liquid” file and click on it. This is the file that controls the overall layout of your shop page.

Scroll down until you see the “footer” section. This is where you’ll add your Instagram feed.

In the code, there will be a line that says “{{ ‘footer’ | snippet }}. Add the following code above that line:

{{ ‘footer-instagram’ | snippet }}

Save the file and then preview your shop page to make sure everything looks good. If it does, then you’re all set! Your customers will now be able to see your beautiful photos when they visit your shop page.
