Adding an NS record to Namecheap can be done in a few simple steps.

First, go to Namecheap’s “Domains” page. Here, you will see a list of all the domains that Namecheap owns.

Next, click on the domain that you want to add an NS record for.

On the “Domain Details” page, you will see a list of all the NS records for that domain.

To add an NS record, click on the “Add an NS record” button.

In the “Add an NS record” dialog box, you will need to provide the following information:

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Domain Name System (DNS) records, we recommend that you contact your DNS hosting provider and ask them to add an NS record for your domain. Adding an NS record to your domain registrar will not work.

NS Record Name: The name of the NS record that you want to add.

Record Type: The type of record that you are adding. In this example, we are adding an NS record for the “domain.

com” domain.

Hostname or IP Address: The hostname or IP address of the domain. In this example, we are adding an NS record for the “localhost” hostname.

Click on the “Add” button to add the NS record to Namecheap.

When you add an NS record to Namecheap, it will be automatically updated in our database. You will also see a confirmation message in the “Domain Details” page.

Finally, you can visit the “Whois” page for the domain to see the NS record’s details.
