Creating a Variable Product in WooCommerce

Before you can add prices to variations, you need to create a variable product. A variable product is a product that comes in different variations, such as size, color, or style.

PRO TIP: If you are adding prices to variations in WooCommerce, be aware that the prices you set will override any default prices that have been set for the product. This can cause unexpected results, so be sure to test your changes thoroughly before making them live on your site.

To create a variable product in WooCommerce, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your WordPress dashboard and go to Products » Add New.
  2. Enter a name for your product and then select “Variable product” from the Product Data dropdown menu.
