Product options, also known as product customization, give your customers the ability to choose variations of your products, such as size, color, or material. For example, if you’re selling t-shirts, you might offer different sizes and colors for each design.
Adding product options in Shopify is easy with the Product Options app. Simply install the app and follow the instructions to create your first product option.
Once you’ve created a product option, you can add it to any product in your shop.
To add product options to a product on Shopify, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Shopify store and go to the “Products” tab in the left-hand menu.
- Click on the name of the product that you want to add options to.
- Scroll down to the “Product options” section of the page.
- Click on the “Add option” button.
- In the “Option name” field, enter a name for the option (e.g. “Size” or “Color”).
- In the “Values” field, enter the values for the option, one per line (e.g. “Small”, “Medium”, “Large” for a size option).
- If you want to add additional options, repeat steps 4-6.
- When you are finished adding options, click the “Save” button.
Your product options will now be displayed on the product page for customers to select when they add the product to their cart.
