How Do I Add Reviews to My Squarespace Website?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 12:07 am

As a business owner, you know that reviews can make or break your business. And with Squarespace, adding reviews to your website is easy!

There are two ways to add reviews to your Squarespace website:

1. Use a pre-made review widget

Squarespace offers a few different options for review widgets. One is the Testimonials Widget, which allows you to showcase customer testimonials on your site. Another option is the Site Reviews Widget, which allows customers to leave reviews directly on your website.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to add reviews to your Squarespace website, be aware that there are some potential risks involved. First of all, if you allow anonymous reviews, you may receive some fake or biased reviews. Secondly, if you moderate your reviews and only allow positive ones to be published, this could give your website a biased and inauthentic feel. Finally, if you allow users to post reviews without verifying their identity, there is a risk that people could post defamatory or inflammatory comments. If you do decide to add reviews to your Squarespace website, be sure to take these potential risks into account.

2. Add review functionality with an app

If you’re looking for more customization or features than what the pre-made widgets offer, you can use an app to add review functionality to your site. There are a few different apps available, but we recommend using the Grade.us app.

Here’s how to add the Grade.us app to your Squarespace website:

1. Log in to your Squarespace account and go to the Home Menu.

2. Click on the “Settings” icon and then select “Connected Accounts.” 3.

Find Grade.us in the list of apps and click “Connect.” 4. Once you’ve connected the app, go to the Grade.us dashboard and follow the instructions to create your first campaign.

Adding reviews to your Squarespace website is easy with either pre-made widgets or apps. By adding reviews, you can increase trust and credibility with potential customers.
