When it comes to setting up an online store, one of the first things you need to do is add shipping cost. This is so that your customers know how much it will cost to have their order shipped to them.
Luckily, WooCommerce makes it easy to add shipping cost to your products. In this article, we will show you how to add shipping cost in WooCommerce.
Adding shipping cost in WooCommerce is simple. First, you need to go to the WooCommerce settings page and click on the Shipping tab.
On this page, you will see all the shipping methods that are available in WooCommerce. To add a new shipping method, simply click on the Add Shipping Method button.
Once you click on the Add Shipping Method button, you will be taken to a page where you can enter the details of your shipping method. Here, you need to enter a Method Title, select the Shipping Zone where this method will be available, and then choose the Shipping Method. You can also enter a description of your shipping method if you want.
Flat Rate Shipping:
If you want to offer flat rate shipping, then you need to select the Flat Rate shipping method from the dropdown menu. Once you have done that, you will see an option to enter the cost. This is the flat rate shipping cost that you want to charge your customers.
Free Shipping:
If you want to offer free shipping, then you need to select the Free Shipping shipping method from the dropdown menu. You can also enter a message that will be displayed to customers at checkout if free shipping is available.
“Based on weight” or “Based on total” Shipping:
“Based on weight” and “Based on total” are two other options for shipping methods in WooCommerce.
If you choose either of these methods, then you need to specify the conditions under which this shipping method will be available.
“Local Pickup”:
“Local Pickup” is a great option if you want customers to pick up their orders from your store or office. This can be useful if you don’t want to deal with shipping orders yourself. To set up “Local Pickup”, simply select it from the dropdown menu and then enter a description of where customers can pick up their orders.
“International Flat Rate”:
