Adding text blocks to a gallery in Squarespace is simple and only takes a few clicks. Here’s how:

First, log in to your Squarespace account and click on the “Content” tab.

Next, click on the “Pages” option. Select the page you want to add text to, and then click on the “Edit” button.

In the edit page, you will see a number of options on the left side. Scroll down until you see the “Content” section. Click on the + icon next to “Content” to add a new content block.

A pop-up window will appear with a number of content block options. Select the “Text” option and then click on the “Add” button.

You will now see a text editor appear on your screen. Here you can add your content and style it using the various HTML tags available. To add a new text block, simply click on the + icon again and repeat the steps above.

When you are finished, click on the “Save” button at the top of your screen.

PRO TIP: Adding text blocks to gallery images in Squarespace can result in distorted or misaligned text. We recommend using a separate text block outside of the gallery for your text.
