There are two ways to add text columns in Squarespace: with the LayoutEngine feature or by adding code to your site.
If you want to use the LayoutEngine feature, you can add text columns by going to the Style tab and selecting the Layout button. Then, click on the Add Columns button and select the number of columns you want to add.
You can also adjust the width of each column by clicking on the column and dragging it to the desired width. Once you’re finished, click on the Save button to save your changes.
If you want to add code to your site, you can do so by going to the Design tab and selecting Code from the left-hand sidebar. Then, paste your code into the box and click on the Save button. Once you’ve added your code, you’ll need to style it using HTML tags.
To style text using HTML tags, you’ll need to use the <p>, <b> and <u> tags. The <p> tag is used for paragraphs, the <b> tag is used for bold text, and the <u> tag is used for underlined text. For example, if you wanted to style a piece of text as follows:
<b>This is some bold text.</b>
You would use the following code:
<code><b><u>This is some bold text.</u></b></code>
Adding text columns in Squarespace is a simple process that can be done using either the LayoutEngine feature or by adding code to your site. Whichever method you choose, be sure to style your text using HTML tags so that it looks its best.
