Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 1:24 pm

Vintage photos are all the rage these days. If you’re looking to add a bit of sparkle to your photos, Photoshop is the perfect tool. Here’s a quick tutorial on how to add vintage sparkles in Photoshop:

1. Start by opening your photo in Photoshop.

2. Next, create a new layer. You can do this by clicking the “Create a new layer” icon at the bottom of the Layers panel.

3. Now, select the Brush Tool from the toolbar on the left side of the screen.

4. Choose a soft, round brush with a fairly large size.

5. Set your foreground color to white and your background color to black.

6. Paint some white dots on your new layer. You can be as messy or as precise as you like – it’s up to you!

7. Once you’re happy with your dots, go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur.

8.

Apply a slight blur to your dots – just enough to soften them up a bit.

9. Change the blending mode of your layer to “Soft Light” or “Overlay”.

10. And that’s it! You’ve now added some beautiful vintage sparkles to your photo.
