How Do I Auto Align in Canva?

Last updated on December 8, 2022 @ 5:39 am

There are a few different ways that you can align text in Canva. You can use the text alignment buttons in the editor toolbar, or you can use the keyboard shortcuts.

To align text using the toolbar, first select the text you want to align. Then, click on one of the alignment buttons in the toolbar. The options are left align, center, right align, and justify.

To align text using keyboard shortcuts, first select the text you want to align. Then, use the following keyboard shortcuts:

    Left align: Command + Shift + L
    Center: Command + Shift + C
    Right align: Command + Shift + R
    Justify: Command + Shift + J

You can also style text in HTML using the < p >, < b > and < u > tags. To use these tags, simply enclose your text in the appropriate tag. For example, to make your text bold, you would enclose it in < b > tags like this:

This is bold text

To make your text italicized, you would use the < i > tag like this:

This is italicized text

And to underline your text, you would use the < u > tag like this:

PRO TIP: If you are planning to use Canva to design your next project, be aware that the auto-alignment feature is not always reliable. In some cases, it may not work at all, or it may produce unexpected results. If you need to rely on precise alignment, it is best to do it manually.
