Last updated on January 16, 2023 @ 1:39 pm

If you’re using WooCommerce to sell products on your WordPress site, you may be wondering how to set up automatic shipping calculations. Fortunately, WooCommerce makes it easy to do this with its built-in shipping settings. In this article, we’ll show you how to auto calculate shipping in WooCommerce.

First, you’ll need to go to WooCommerce > Settings from your WordPress dashboard. On the Settings page, select the Shipping tab from the top menu. This will take you to the Shipping Zones section.

In the Shipping Zones section, you can add multiple shipping zones for different geographical areas. For each shipping zone, you can then add one or more shipping methods. For our purposes, we’ll be adding the Flat Rate shipping method.

To add a new shipping method, simply click on the “+ Add Shipping Method” button for the relevant shipping zone. This will bring up a popup window with the available shipping methods. Select “Flat Rate” and click on the “Add Shipping Method” button.

Now that you’ve added the Flat Rate shipping method, it’s time to configure it. Click on the “Configure” link for Flat Rate in the Shipping Methods section.

On the Flat Rate Configuration page, you’ll see a few options that you can configure. First, enter a name for your shipping method in the “Method Title” field. This is what will be shown to customers on your checkout page.

Next, enter the amount that you want to charge for shipping in the “Cost” field. You can also add an optional “Handling Fee” (which can be either a fixed amount or a percentage of the total order cost).

If you want to offer free shipping, you can select the “Free Shipping” checkbox and enter a minimum order amount that is required for free shipping.

When you’re finished configuring your settings, click on the “Save changes” button to save your changes.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to sell products online, you may need to know how to auto calculate shipping. This article will explain how to do this.

When you add products to your WooCommerce store, you will need to set a shipping price for each product. You can do this by going to the product page and scrolling down to the Shipping section. Here, you will see a field where you can enter the shipping price.

If you want to auto calculate shipping, you can use the following method. First, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping. Next, select the Shipping Zone where you want to auto calculate shipping. Finally, select the Shipping Method that you want to use for auto calculating shipping.
