If you’re running a WooCommerce store, there’s a good chance you’re Dropshipping. Dropshipping is a business model in which eCommerce entrepreneurs sell products without having to carry any inventory. When a store owner receives an order from a customer, they simply contact the supplier, who will then ship the products directly to the customer’s door.
Dropshipping is a great way to start an online business with little up-front investment, but it does have its challenges. One of the biggest challenges faced by dropshippers is fulfilling orders in a timely and efficient manner.
If you’re dropshipping on WooCommerce, there are a few different ways you can automate the fulfillment process. In this article, we’ll show you how to automate dropshipping in WooCommerce using the WooCommerce Dropshippers plugin.
Step 1: Install the WooCommerce Dropshippers Plugin
The first thing you need to do is install and activate the WooCommerce Dropshippers plugin. For more details, see our step by step guide on how to install a WordPress plugin.
Step 2: Create Your Suppliers
Once the plugin is activated, you’ll need to set up your suppliers. To do this, go to Dropshippers > Add New from the WordPress admin panel. From here, you’ll need to enter your supplier’s name, email address, and shipping information.
Once you’ve entered all of the required information, click the Add Supplier button to save your changes.
Step 3: Add Your Products
Now that you’ve added your suppliers, it’s time to add their products to your WooCommerce store. To do this, go to Products > Add New from the WordPress admin panel. From here, you’ll need to enter your product’s name, description, price, and other details.
Once you’ve entered all of the required information for your product, scroll down to the Product Data section and select your supplier from the drop-down menu.
1. Make sure that your chosen dropshipping supplier is able to integrate with WooCommerce. Not all suppliers offer this option, so it’s important to check before proceeding.
2. Automating your dropshipping business will require you to set up automatic payments for your orders. Be sure that you have a secure payment gateway in place before beginning.
3. Be aware that automating your business will mean that you won’t have as much control over your inventory and order fulfillment process. Make sure you are comfortable with this before proceeding.
Once you’ve done that, click the Publish button to add the product to your store.
Automating your dropshipping business can save you a lot of time and money. By using the WooCommerce Dropshippers plugin, you can easily add products from multiple suppliers to your store and have them shipped directly to your customers.
