WooCommerce is a popular eCommerce platform that allows you to sell products and services online. A key feature of WooCommerce is the ability to send invoices automatically to your customers. This can be a great time-saver, as it means you don’t have to manually create and send invoices to each customer.

To automatically send invoices in WooCommerce, you first need to install and activate the WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips plugin. For more information on how to do this, please see our guide on how to install a WordPress plugin.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to sell products or services online, you may want to automatically send invoices to your customers. This can be a great way to keep track of your sales and make sure that your customers are being billed correctly. However, there are a few things you should know before you set up automatic invoicing in WooCommerce.

First, you will need to make sure that your WooCommerce settings are configured correctly. In the “General” tab of the WooCommerce settings page, you will need to check the box labeled “Enable Automatic Invoicing.” This will ensure that WooCommerce knows to send invoices when orders are placed.

Next, you will need to choose a payment gateway that supports automatic invoicing. not all payment gateways do. If your chosen payment gateway does not support automatic invoicing, you will need to enter the invoice details manually when an order is placed.

Finally, you will need to decide how you want WooCommerce to generate invoices. You can choose to have WooCommerce generate an invoice for each order, or you can choose to have WooCommerce generate an invoice for each customer. If you choose the latter option, you will need to enter the customer’s billing

Once the plugin is activated, you’ll need to go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> PDF Invoices to configure the plugin settings. On this page, you can choose which order statuses will trigger an invoice to be sent, as well as decide whether you want to send the invoice as an attachment in an email, or as a link that can be accessed via the order page on your website.

You can also choose what information appears on the invoice itself, such as your company logo, contact details, and more. Once you’re happy with the settings, be sure to click ‘Save Changes’.

That’s all there is to it! From now on, whenever an order is placed with one of the statuses you selected, WooCommerce will automatically generate and send an invoice to your customer.
