As a business owner, you know that it’s important to keep your data backed up in case of an emergency. But what if you’re not sure how to backup your Shopify store? In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps you need to take to ensure that your Shopify store is backed up and safe.

Backing up your Shopify store is a simple process that can be done in just a few minutes. First, you’ll need to log into your Shopify account and go to the “Settings” page.

On the left-hand side of the page, you’ll see a section called “Backups.” Click on that link.

PRO TIP: Backup your Shopify store before making any changes!

1. Go to “Settings” in your Shopify admin.
2. Under “Store settings”, click “Backups”.
3. In the “Backups” section, click “Create manual backup”.
4. Wait for the backup to finish generating, then click “Download”.

On the next page, you’ll see a list of all the backups that have been created for your store. If this is the first time you’re backing up your store, there may not be any backups listed. To create a new backup, simply click on the “Create Backup” button.

A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to create a new backup. Once you click “OK,” Shopify will begin creating your backup. This process may take a few minutes, depending on the size of your store.

Once the backup is complete, you’ll see it listed on the page with the date and time it was created. You can also download the backup file to your computer by clicking on the “Download” button. We recommend downloading and storing your backups in a safe place (like an external hard drive or cloud storage service) in case you ever need to restore your store from a backup.

That’s all there is to backing up your Shopify store! By following these simple steps, you can rest assured knowing that your data is safely backed up and can be restored if something goes wrong.
