Organizing your products in the right categories is crucial for any WooCommerce store. The better you can organize your products, the easier it is for customers to find what they’re looking for, and the more likely they are to make a purchase.
Unfortunately, manually changing the category for each individual product can be a time-consuming task, especially if you have a large number of products. Fortunately, there is a way to bulk change product categories in WooCommerce.
Here’s how to do it:
- From your WordPress Dashboard, go to Products > Categories.
You will now see a list of all the categories you have set up for your store. If you need to create any new categories, you can do so by clicking on the Add New Category button.
- Once you have all your desired categories set up, go to Products > All Products.
You will now see a list of all the products in your store. To bulk edit product categories, select the products you want to edit by checking the boxes next to their names. Once you have selected all the products you want to edit, click on the Bulk Actions drop-down menu and select Edit.
- On the Edit screen, select Categories from the Bulk Actions drop-down menu.
You will now see a list of all the available categories. Select the category you want to move the products to by checking the box next to its name. Once you have selected a category, click on the Update button to save your changes.
And that’s it! You have successfully bulk edited product categories in WooCommerce.
