How Do I Change Colors in Squarespace?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 2:40 am

There are many ways to change colors in Squarespace. The most common method is to use the color picker in the Style Editor. This is located in the “Design” tab, under “Site Styles”.

To change colors using the color picker, first select the element you want to change. Then, click on the color picker and choose the color you want.

You can also enter a hex code or select a color from the palette. Once you’ve chosen a color, click “Apply” to save your changes.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, changing colors in Squarespace can have undesired consequences. For example, you could end up with a color that is too light or too dark, or a color that does not match the rest of your site.

If you want to change multiple colors at once, you can use the “Bulk Editor”.

To use the Bulk Editor, first select the element you want to change. Then, click on the “Bulk Editor” button and choose the colors you want to change. Once you’ve made your changes, click “Apply” to save them.

You can also change colors by adding CSS code. To do this, go to the “Advanced” tab in the Style Editor and click on “Custom CSS”. Then, add your CSS code and click “Apply” to save your changes.

Conclusion:

There are many ways to change colors in Squarespace. However, you can also use the Bulk Editor or add CSS code.
