How do I change my BigCommerce email template?

If you’re looking to change your default BigCommerce email template, there are a few things you’ll need to do. First, open your BigCommerce account and click on “Customer Settings” in the top navigation. This will take you to the “Email Settings” page.

Here, you’ll need to find the “Email Template” section and click on the “Edit” button next to it. This will open the “Email Template Editor” page.

Once on the “Email Template Editor” page, you’ll need to find the “BigCommerce Email Template” file. This file can be found in your BigCommerce account under the “Customers” folder.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with HTML or coding in general, we recommend hiring a BigCommerce Partner to help with this. Making changes to your email templates can result in emails not delivering, or worse, deliverable emails being marked as spam.

Once you’ve located the file, you can click on it to open it in the editor.

Next, you’ll need to find the “To” field and enter your email address into it. You can also add any custom recipients that you want by clicking on the “Add Recipient” button.

Next, you’ll need to find the “From” field and enter your email address again. Finally, you’ll need to find the “Subject” field and enter a subject for your email.

Once you’ve filled out the “To,” “From,” and “Subject” fields, you’ll need to click on the “Save” button to save your changes. Once you’ve done this, your new BigCommerce email template will be available to use in your future emails.
