How Do I Change the Background Image on One Page in Squarespace?

There are a few different ways that you can change the background image on one page in Squarespace. One way is to use the Custom CSS editor. To do this, go to Design > Custom CSS and enter the following code:

body.page-id-123 {
  background-image: url(https://example.com/image.jpg);
}

Replace "123" with the ID of the page you want to change, and "https://example.jpg" with the URL of the image you want to use. If you want to use a different image on each page, you'll need to add this code for each page ID.

Another way to change the background image on one page is to use the Page Header panel in the Page Settings dialog. Go to the page you want to change, click the gear icon in the upper-right corner, and select Page Settings from the drop-down menu.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Squarespace, we recommend that you seek help from a Squarespace expert before attempting to change the background image on your site. Changing the background image can potentially break your site's design, and may require extensive knowledge of Squarespace's code to fix.

Then, click on the Page Header tab and upload your image in the Background Image section. You can also adjust other settings like overlay color and opacity here.

If you want to make global changes to all pages on your site, you can also go to Design > Site Styles and upload your image in the Background Image section.

Conclusion:
