Shopify is a powerful ecommerce platform that enables businesses of all sizes to create an online store. One of the great features of Shopify is the ability to change the look and feel of your store by changing the theme.
Themes can be purchased from the Shopify Theme Store or from third-party websites. If you want to change the default look of your Shopify store, you can do so by changing the Cart Drawer.
To change the Cart Drawer, you need to access the Theme Editor. The Theme Editor can be found in your Shopify admin, under Online Store > Themes. Once you’re in the Theme Editor, click on the Edit HTML/CSS button.
In the Edit HTML/CSS page, you’ll see a list of files on the left hand side. Find and click on the Cart.liquid file. This will open up the code for the Cart Drawer in the main editor window.
To change the style of the Cart Drawer, you’ll need to add some CSS code. CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is a code language that is used to style webpages. You can add CSS code directly to any HTML element by using the style attribute.
For example, let’s say we want to make all of the text in the Cart Drawer bold. We would add this code to the opening < div > tag:
<div style=”font-weight:bold;”>
Now all of the text inside of this < div > will be bold. You can experiment with different CSS properties to change the look and feel of your Cart Drawer. Once you’re happy with your changes, click Save at the top of the page and your new Cart Drawer will be live on your store!
