If you’re not happy with the colors in your Photoshop image, you can change the embedded color profile. This is how:

1. Open your image in Photoshop.

2. Go to Edit > Convert to Profile.

(If you don’t see this option, make sure that you’re in Expert Mode. )

3. In the Destination Space dropdown menu, choose the color space you want to convert to.

Note: If your image is already in the color space you want to convert to, skip this step.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with color profiles, we recommend that you seek professional help before changing the embedded color profile in Photoshop. Incorrectly changing the color profile can result in distorted colors and may affect the overall look of your images.

4. Click OK. Your image will now be converted to the new color space.

The embedded color profile defines how colors are represented in an image file and specifies what device or medium the file is intended for use with. Converting an image’s embedded profile allows you to maintain its color integrity when working between different devices or software programs that use different profiles.
