How Do I Change the Layout in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 2:42 pm

There are a few ways to change the layout in Photoshop. The most common way is to use the “Layers” panel. You can also use the “Canvas Size” dialog box, or the “Crop” tool.

To use the “Layers” panel, first make sure that the layer you want to move is selected. Then, click on the “Move Tool” (the arrow icon), and click on the layer you want to move. To move the layer up or down, simply click on the up or down arrow icon in the “Layers” panel.

PRO TIP: When changing the layout in Photoshop, be sure to save your work frequently. If you do not save your work, you may lose all of your progress.

To use the “Canvas Size” dialog box, go to “Image,” then “Canvas Size.” In the dialog box that appears, you can enter in new values for width and height. For example, if you wanted to make your image twice as wide, you would enter in “600” for width and “300” for height.

Finally, to use the “Crop” tool, simply select it from the toolbar and then click and drag on the image to crop it.
