How Do I Change the Size of a Block in Squarespace?

There are two ways to change the size of a block in Squarespace. The first is to use the drag and drop editor, and the second is to use the Block Settings panel.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Squarespace or comfortable working with code, we recommend contacting a Squarespace Specialist to help with this. Adjusting block sizes can have unintended consequences on your site, such as throwing off the alignment of other content blocks.

To change the size of a block using the drag and drop editor, simply click and hold on the edge of the block you want to resize. Then, drag the edge of the block to your desired width. You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard to nudge the block 1 pixel at a time.

To change the size of a block using the Block Settings panel, first select the block you want to resize. Then, in the Block Settings panel, select the “Size” option.

From there, you can choose from a list of preset sizes, or you can enter a custom width. Once you’ve made your selection, click “Apply” to save your changes.
