How Do I Change the Width of a Squarespace Site?

Last updated on December 27, 2022 @ 5:22 pm

When it comes to building a website, one of the most important aspects is the width of your site. The width of your site will determine how much content you can fit on each page, and how easy it is for visitors to read your content. If you have a lot of content, or if you want to make your site easier to read, you may want to consider changing the width of your Squarespace site.

There are a few different ways to change the width of your Squarespace site. The first way is to change the width of your content area. To do this, go to the Settings tab in the left-hand sidebar and click on the Content link. Then, click on the Content Width drop-down menu and select the desired width for your content area. The second way to change the width of your site is to change the width of your sidebar. To do this, go to the Settings tab in the left-hand sidebar and click on the Design link.

Then, click on the Sidebar drop-down menu and select the desired width for your sidebar. Finally, you can change the overall width of your site by going to the Settings tab in the left-hand sidebar and clicking on the Site link. Then, click on the Site Width drop-down menu and select the desired width for your site. Once you have made your changes, be sure to click on the Save button to save your changes.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with code or website design, we recommend contacting a Squarespace specialist to help with this. Making code changes to your site can result in unintended changes and broken functionality if not done correctly.
