Assuming you have a layer with an image on it:

First, make sure the layer you want to clean up is selected in the Layers panel. If you have multiple layers, you may want to create a new layer just for your cleanup work.

Next, zoom in on the area you want to clean up so you can see it clearly. You can do this by clicking on the image with the Zoom tool or by choosing View > Zoom In from the menu.

Now select the Clone Stamp tool from the toolbar. The Clone Stamp tool allows you to copy pixels from one area of an image and paste them over another area.

PRO TIP: When cleaning up an area in Photoshop, be careful not to delete any important pixels. If you are unsure about a pixel, zoom in and check it before deleting.

To use the Clone Stamp tool, first click on the area of the image you want to copy. Then click and drag over the area you want to paste those pixels into.

As you drag, you’ll see a crosshair appear over the area you’re copying from. This lets you know that you’re cloning that area.

If you need to adjust the size or shape of your brush, you can do so by clicking on the Brush tool in the toolbar and then choosing your desired brush size and shape from the options that appear.

Once you’re happy with how your clone looks, release the mouse button and deselect the Clone Stamp tool by clicking on another tool in the toolbar.
