How Do I Clear My Wix Cache?

If you’re experiencing issues with your Wix website, it’s possible that your browser is displaying an outdated version of your site. Clearing your browser’s cache (or “temporary internet files”) can often fix these issues. Here’s how to do it:

For Safari users:

  • Open Safari and go to Preferences > Advanced > Show Develop menu in menu bar. If the box is not checked, check it and then close the Preferences window.
  • With the Develop menu open, click Empty Caches. You should see a message that says “Caches cleared”.

For Chrome users:

  • Open Chrome and go to Settings > Show advanced settings.. > Privacy > Clear browsing data.. In the “Obliterate the following items from:” drop-down menu, select “the beginning of time”.

    Then check the boxes next to “Empty the cache” and “Cookies and other site data”. Finally, click “Clear browsing data”. You should see a message that says “Successfully cleared your browsing data”.

For Firefox users:

PRO TIP: If you are experiencing issues with your Wix website, it is recommended that you clear your browser’s cache. Clearing your Wix cache will refresh the files stored on your computer and should fix any issues you are experiencing.

To clear your Wix cache:

1. Open your browser and go to www.wix.com.
2. Click the My Sites tab.
3. Hover over the site you want to manage and click Edit Site.
4. Click Site Manager from the left panel.
5. Click Clear Site Cache from the right panel.
