How Do I Close My Shopify Store?

There are a few things to consider before closing your Shopify store. First, you need to cancel any paid plans and remove any Shopify apps that you’re no longer using.

You should also export your customer data and order history so you have a record of it. Finally, delete your payment gateway and domain name from your Shopify account. Once you’ve done all of that, you can close your store from the Settings page in your Shopify admin.

PRO TIP: If you are considering closing your Shopify store, please be aware that there are a few things you need to do in order to ensure that your data is properly backed up and that your customers are notified. Failure to do so could result in data loss or customer dissatisfaction.
