Google Cloud Platform has a database service that is based on the popular SQL relational database management system (RDBMS). To connect your Google Cloud database to your SQL instance, you use the Google Cloud Platform Database Connector.

The Database Connector provides a single point of access to your Google Cloud database, and you can use it to create, read, update, and delete (CRUD) data.

To use the Database Connector, you first create a project in the Google Cloud Platform Console, and then select the Database Connector project from the Projects list. Next, you create a connection to your Google Cloud database.

PRO TIP: When connecting a Google cloud database to SQL, it is important to ensure that the correct IP address is whitelisted. Failing to do so may result in the database being inaccessible.

You can use the Database Connector to connect to a single Google Cloud database instance, or you can connect to multiple Google Cloud database instances.

After you create the connection, you can use the Database Connector to create, read, update, and delete (CRUD) data in your Google Cloud database. You can also use the Database Connector to view data in your Google Cloud database, and to manage your Google Cloud database instances.

The Database Connector is a powerful tool, and it can be used to manage your Google Cloud data in a variety of ways. If you need help connecting your Google Cloud database to your SQL instance, you can consult the Google Cloud Platform Database Connector documentation.
