FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. FileZilla is an FTP client that allows you to transfer files between your computer and a server. GoDaddy is a web hosting company that provides FTP server space for its customers.

In order to connect your FileZilla FTP client to your GoDaddy FTP server, you will need to enter the following information into the FileZilla Site Manager:

Host: Your domain name or the IP address of your server

Username: Your FTP username

Password: Your FTP password

Port: 21 (the default FTP port)

Once you have entered this information, click ‘Connect’ and you should be able to access your server space and transfer files between your computer and the server.

If you are using a personal account, leave the user name and password fields blank and click on the Connect button. If you are using a business account, enter your GoDaddy FTP user name and password in the appropriate fields and click on the Connect button. After connecting to GoDaddy FTP, you should see the file listing for the current directory. To transfer files, select the files you want to transfer and click on the Transfer button.
