Shopify is a powerful ecommerce platform that gives you everything you need to create a successful online store. Wix, on the other hand, is a website builder that offers users an easy way to create beautiful websites.
While it is possible to connect your Shopify domain to Wix, doing so can result in some problems. For example, your Shopify store will no longer be accessible from yourdomain.com. Instead, visitors will need to go to yourdomain.myshopify.com.
Additionally, any email addresses that you have associated with your Shopify domain will no longer work once the domain is connected to Wix. This means that you will need to create new email addresses and update any existing correspondence (such as invoices) to use the new addresses.
Finally, keep in mind that connecting your Shopify domain to Wix means that you will no longer be able to use Shopify’s ecommerce features. This means that if you decide to switch back to Shopify at some point, you will need to start from scratch and create a new online store.
To connect your Shopify domain to Wix, you will need to:
1. Log into your Shopify account and go to the ‘Domains’ section. 2. Click on the ‘Connect existing domain’ button.
3. Enter your Wix domain in the ‘Domain name’ field and click on the ‘Connect domain’ button. 4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the connection process.
