How do I connect Squarespace to Namecheap domain?

Adding a Squarespace domain to Namecheap is simple. First, create an account with Squarespace. Once you have an account, visit the Add a Domain page and enter your domain name.

You will be prompted to provide your Namecheap account credentials. Click the Add Domain button and you will be redirected to the Namecheap domain registration page. On this page, you will need to provide the following information:.

Domain name: The domain name you entered in Squarespace

Hosting: The hosting plan that you want to use for your domain

Registration period: The registration period for your domain

Namecheap will charge you a one-time $10.00 domain registration fee.

PRO TIP: If you are using Namecheap as your domain registrar, you cannot directly connect your Squarespace account to your Namecheap account. You will need to first update the DNS settings for your domain in Namecheap and then connect your domain to Squarespace.

After you have completed these steps, your domain will be registered with Namecheap and you will be able to transfer your domain to Squarespace.

To connect your Squarespace domain to your Namecheap account, visit the Squarespace domain management page and click the Connected Domains tab. You will be prompted to enter your Namecheap account credentials.

After you have entered your credentials, Squarespace will redirect you to the Namecheap domain management page. On this page, you will need to click the Update Domain button and provide the following information:.

Namecheap will charge you a one-time $10.00 domain transfer fee.
