If you’re using WordPress to build your website, there’s a good chance you might be using the WooCommerce plugin to sell products or services online. And if you’re using Tutor LMS to create and manage your courses, you might be wondering how to connect the two.

Luckily, it’s pretty easy to do. In this article, we’ll show you how to connect WooCommerce to Tutor LMS in just a few steps.

First, you’ll need to install and activate the Tutor LMS – WooCommerce Integration plugin. For more information on how to do that, please see our article on How to Install a WordPress Plugin.

Once the plugin is activated, you’ll need to go to Tutor LMS -> Settings -> Integrations and scroll down to the WooCommerce section.

In the Enable Integration field, select Yes and then click on the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that connecting WooCommerce to Tutor LMS can be tricky and may result in unexpected behavior. We recommend only connecting if you are comfortable with troubleshooting and resolving potential issues.

Now that the integration is enabled, there are a few more settings that you can configure. These include:

The order status that will trigger the course purchase: This setting allows you to choose what order status from WooCommerce will trigger the course purchase in Tutor LMS. By default, it is set to Completed, but you can change it to any other order statuses that are available in WooCommerce (e.g., Processing, On Hold, etc.).

The order status that will trigger the course enrollment: This setting allows you to choose what order status from WooCommerce will trigger the course enrollment in Tutor LMS.

Assign student role after purchase: This setting allows you to automatically assign the Student role to a user after they’ve purchased a course from your WooCommerce store. By default, this setting is enabled.

Set student as registered when purchase completed: This setting allows you to automatically set a student as registered in Tutor LMS after they’ve purchased a course from your WooCommerce store.

Once you’ve configured all of the settings, click on the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page and you’re done! Your WooCommerce store is now integrated with Tutor LMS.
