There are a few different ways that you can copy a master component in Figma. The first way is to simply select the component that you want to copy and then press Ctrl/Cmd+C. You can also right-click on the component and select “Copy” from the context menu.

If you want to copy all of the instances of a particular component, you can use the “Copy All Instances” command. To do this, select the component and then choose Edit > Copy All Instances from the menu bar.

PRO TIP: When copying a master component in Figma, be sure to check if the component is locked. If the component is locked, you will not be able to copy it.

You can also use the “Duplicate” command to create a copy of a component. To do this, select the component and choose Edit > Duplicate from the menu bar.

Finally, you can use the “Create Component” command to create a new component that is based on an existing one. To do this, select the component and choose Edit > Create Component from the menu bar.

All of these methods will create a new component that is based on the original one. You can then make changes to the new component without affecting the original.
