How Do I Copy a Page From One Wix Site to Another?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 10:09 am

There are a few different ways that you can copy a page from one Wix site to another. The first way is to use the Wix Editor.

To do this, simply click on the page you want to copy, then click on the ‘Clone Page’ icon in the top toolbar. This will create an exact copy of the page, which you can then edit and publish on your new site.

The second way to copy a page is to use the Wix Code Editor. This is a more advanced method, but it allows you to copy not only the design of the page, but also the code behind it.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to copy a page from one Wix site to another, it is important to be aware that there are some potential risks involved. Copying pages between Wix sites can result in broken links, lost data, and other problems. Therefore, it is advisable to only copy pages if you are sure that you know what you are doing and you have a backup plan in place in case something goes wrong.

To do this, simply open the page you want to copy in the Code Editor, then click on the ‘Export’ button in the top toolbar. This will generate a ZIP file containing all of the code for the page, which you can then import into your new site.

Finally, if you just want to copy the design of a page without any of the code, you can use the Wix Designer. This is a visual editor that lets you drag and drop elements to create a custom design for your site.

To use it, simply open the page you want to copy in the Designer, then click on the ‘Export’ button in the top toolbar. This will generate a ZIP file containing all of the images and assets used on the page, which you can then import into your new site.

No matter which method you choose, copying a page from one Wix site to another is easy and straightforward. So why not give it a try today?
