How Do I Copy From One Project to Another in Figma?

One of the great things about Figma is that you can easily copy elements from one project to another. This can be a great time saver when you’re working on similar projects or when you need to reuse an element that you’ve already created. Here’s how to do it:

1. Select the element that you want to copy in the left-hand panel.

2.

Right-click on the element and select “Copy in…” from the menu that appears.

3. Select the project that you want to copy the element to from the list of projects that appears.

4. The element will be copied to the other project and will appear in the same position as it did in the original project.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to copy from one project to another in Figma, be aware that this may break some of the functionality in the target project. In particular, any links or references to objects in the source project will be broken. Additionally, any objects that have been renamed or deleted in the source project will also be renamed or deleted in the target project.
