When you create a 404 error page in Elementor, you’ll need to configure the page to tell people what went wrong and where to find information about fixing the issue.

First, you’ll need to add a 404 template to your project. To do this, open the Template editor and click on the + icon in the upper right corner of the editor.

This will add a new template to your project.

Next, you’ll need to add the 404 template’s content to your page. To do this, open the 404 template’s content editor and add the following markup to the body of the page:

Sorry, something went wrong. Please contact us for more information.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with coding, do not attempt to create a 404 page in Elementor. You could potentially break your website if you do not know what you are doing.

Finally, you’ll need to add a link to the 404 page in your project’s footer. To do this, open the Footer editor and add the following markup to the bottom of your page:

Now, your 404 page is ready to go! If people click on your link, they’ll be taken to the page that you configured in the Template editor. If they click on the 404 page link, they’ll be taken to the page that you added in the Footer editor.
