If you’re using Shopify for your ecommerce website, you might be wondering how to create a custom contact form. After all, the default contact form that comes with Shopify is pretty basic and doesn’t allow for much customization.

Luckily, there are a few ways to create a custom contact form in Shopify. In this article, we’ll show you how to do it using the built-in Shopify Form Builder and the Custom Form Builder app.

Option 1: Use the Built-In Shopify Form Builder

The first option is to use the built-in Shopify Form Builder. This is a great option if you want to keep things simple and don’t need too many customization options. To use the Form Builder, simply go to Shopify Admin > Online Store > Themes > Edit code.

Then, click on the Add a new asset link at the bottom of the Assets folder and select Create a blank file. Name the file contact.liquid and click Create asset.

Next, copy and paste the following code into the contact.liquid file:

Option 2: Use the Custom Form Builder App

If you need more customization options for your contact form, you can use the Custom Form Builder app. This app allows you to add custom fields to your contact form, as well as change the layout and design.

To use this app, simply install it from the Shopify App Store. Once it’s installed, go to Shopify Admin > Apps > Custom Form Builder. From here, you can create your custom contact form.

Once you’re done creating your form, click on the Embed Code tab and copy the code. Then, go to Shopify Admin > Online Store > Themes > Edit code. Click on the “Add a new asset” link at the bottom of the Assets folder and select “Create a blank file”.

Name the file “contact.liquid”, paste in the code from Custom Form Builder, and click “Create asset”. Save your changes and you’re done! Your custom contact form will now be live on your site.

In conclusion, there are two ways that you can create a custom contact form in Shopify – by using either the built-in Shopify Form Builder or by using the Custom Form Builder app. Both options are easy to use and allow for different levels of customization.
